Strawberry basil margaritas

Strawberry basil infused tequila

Ingredients

1 quart strawberries, hulled and quartered

1 handful basil (2 dozen large leaves, picked from stems)

Tequila - blanco or reposada

Directions

Place strawberries and basil in a large glass jar with lid. Pour tequila to the top(ish), seal with the lid.

Store in the fridge for 2-3 days. Shake daily if you remember. Strain off basil and strawberries and throw away (or save strawberries to make boozy sorbet). Keep refrigerated, lasts six months.

Strawberry Basil Margaritas

Glass. Ice.

2 ounces strawberry-basil infused tequila

1 ounce margarita mix

Top with sparkling water to taste
